El Destilado

Independent spirits brand, El Destilado was launched by the combined forces of Michael Sager and Marcis Dzelzainis of Sager + Wilde, and Alex Wolpert of the East London Liquor Company. The company was founded out of a shared desire to curate a collection of spirits that express the terroir of the distinctive environment and small, independent producers that the trio encountered on their travels in Latin America. The brand started with 11 expressions of uncertified Agave distillates and 2 sugar cane distillates from Mexico that were produced on a small scale, with numbered batches ranging from 70 to 420 bottles. It has plans to keep expanding, so watch this space.
