Produced in one of our favourite parts of France, Gascony, Armagnac is singly distilled, as opposed to the double distillation applied to Cognac, and it is a richer, more intense, "manlier" (if you'll excuse the word!) libation. Well suited anywhere, you can enjoy Armagnac with a cigar or coffee or after a meal, or even in cooking (try using a little with some prunes in a sauce for chicken or game), it is one of the world's finest brandies.
