Whitley Neill Gin, an award-winning, handcrafted premium London Dry gin, was launched in 2005, taking inspiration from African flavours and themes. It is distilled in in small batches near Birmingham and combines a host of botanicals, including angelica root, cassia bark, coriander seeds, Florentine iris, juniper berries, lemon, orange, as well as African baobab fruit and cape gooseberries, with eight generations of expertise from Johnny Neill, a direct descendant of Thomas Greenall.
This marriage of specialist gin knowledge and exotic, individual botanicals has led the company’s core expression, the Whitley Neill Handcrafted Dry Gin to considerable success, and it has previously picked up gold medals in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2014 and in the Super Premium Category of the International Spirits Challenge 2013.
