Another intriguing Mexican spirit from El Destilado, this time made by mezcalero Berta Vasquez using tobaziche agave. The agave was cooked for three days in an earthen pit, before being crushed by a tahona wheel and distilled, then bottled up at 44.3% ABV. Fantastically flavoursome stuff.
Bold tropical fruit, with a subtle touch of oaky vanilla growing in the background.
