An intriguing Mexican spirit from the El Destilado range, crafted by mezcalero Amando Alvarado Alvarez using papalome agave, which are a bit like the popular tobala agave, but much bigger. El Destilado was founded by people behind Sager + Wilde and East London Liquor Company, who make it so we can taste these spirits from small producers in Mexico that we might not have been able to enjoy otherwise.
Spicy with peppercorn and chilli flakes, alongside a tangy flash of charred tropical fruit.
