Henkes Vieux is a bottling of Dutch imitation brandy, in this case flavoured with fresh blackberries. "Vieux" is the French word for old, of course, a nod to Cognac, which was the inspiration for this drink type from the Netherlands.

A popular Dutch brandy from a brand with roots in Amsterdam. The name "vieux" comes from when Dutch producers could no longer use the protected term "Cognac", which can of course only be produced in the Cognac region of France. Vieux (French for 'old'), which was already in use as a descriptor on ma
