A legendary Champagne house, Perrier-Jouët (pronounced ‘Pair-e-yay Zjhoo-et’) is best known for its floral, delicate and bright sparkling wine as well as for popularizing the Brut style, pioneering bubbly marketing by emphasizing vintage and its iconic floral design. Over the years the Pernod Ricard-owned brand has managed to preserve historic first vintages, and count fans such as Queen Victoria, Oscar Wilde, Coco Chanel, and Grace Kelly.
Perrier-Jouët was named after its founders, Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose Adélaide Jouët, who married in 1811 and then went a whole lot further than simply toasting their matrimony with Champagne.
Today the Champagne is produced in Côte des Blancs, in the heart of Champagne's ‘Golden Triangle’, where Perrier-Jouët owns 65 hectares of vineyards classified as 99.2% on the échelle des crus classification of vineyards, including forty hectares of Chardonnay for the Cramant and Avize grands crus. Approximately 3,000,000 bottles of vintage and non-vintage cuvee are made there every year and you can find out what all the fuss is about by checking out our selection of Perrier-Jouët below!
