The basis of the allocation of each Mystery Box to each entrant will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

Please note that, save as set out below, Mystery Boxes which have been opened cannot be returned to us. This is to prevent entrants from returning Mystery Boxes to us in circumstances where they did not receive the prize which they were hoping for, which would be unfair and undermine the whole purpose of the competition. That said, if the prize bottle inside an entrant’s Mystery Box is faulty or damaged, we will, of course, be happy to provide the entrant with a replacement bottle or a refund of the price paid for the Mystery Box (to be determined in MoM’s sole and absolute discretion). Entrants’ statutory rights are not affected. The name of the winner of the Bowmore 51 Year Old 1971 will be announced on MoM’s blog.

7. SHIPMENT OF MYSTERY BOXES: The Mystery Boxes will be shipped to each entrant after the entry period ends, on or around 23 July 2026. If any Mystery Box cannot be delivered to the address provided to us by an entrant, MoM reserves the right to cancel the entrant’s purchase of the Mystery Box and refund the entrant for the price paid for the Mystery Box. All entrants will be solely responsible for the cost to ship the Mystery Box to their address. For the avoidance of doubt, the cost of shipment shall be charged in addition to the purchase price of the Mystery Box.

8. UNBOXING COMPETITION Each entrant will also have the chance to win a 70cl bottle of whisky by sharing a video of themselves unboxing their Mystery Box on their Instagram or Facebook account (Unboxing Competition). In order to be eligible for the Unboxing Competition, entrants will need to post their unboxing video on their Instagram or Facebook account and include the hashtag #mysterydrop in their post by no later than 12:00:00 PM on 31st July 2026.  Any determination as to whether an unboxing video meets the eligibility requirements of the Unboxing Competition will be made by MoM in its sole discretion.

MoM will choose three winners for the Unboxing Competition out of all eligible entries at random. Each winner will win one of the following bottles (which will be allocated at random by MoM in its sole discretion): Bowmore 18 Year Old 70cl Whisky; Irish Single Malt #2 16 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company) 50cl Whiskey; or Blended Grain & Malt Spirit Drink 40 Year Old 1978 (Master of Malt) 70cl. The selection of the winners made and the bottles awarded to them for the Unboxing Competition will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into. Each prize for the Unboxing Competition is inclusive of packaging and carriage to a valid UK address (excluding Northern Ireland).

The names of the winners of the Unboxing Competition will be announced on MoM’s blog as soon as practicable following selection. MoM will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners of the Unboxing Competition via email or by telephone as soon as practicable. If any winner of the Unboxing Competition cannot be contacted or has not claimed the prize within 5 days of MoM making reasonable attempts to contact them, MoM reserves the right to select an alternative qualifying entry and to offer the prize to another entrant. MoM cannot accept any responsibility if any winner of the Unboxing Competition is unable to claim the prize within the time limit set out above.
