Here we have an Irish single malt, independently bottled by Artful Dodger. It was distilled in 2002, and left in a single bourbon cask for the following 15 years. April 2019 came around, and the cask was emptied, yielding 291 bottles. This is an exceptionally fruity affair, bottled up at 57.9% ABV.
Nose: Plums in syrup, with fresh underripe pear and freshly cut grass, supported by banana and honey.
Palate: More pear, with floral honey and tropical cantaloupe sweetness, with tart green apple skin and mint white chocolate.
Finish: Banana and custard balanced by some white pepper heat.
