12 year old single malt from Islay's Bruichladdich distillery, independently bottled by Glasgow's Douglas Laing! This was distilled in May 2005 and aged in a first-fill bourbon barrel for a dozen years until August 2017, when it was bottled for the Old Particular range. 253 bottles were produced.
Nose: Gristy, with a waft of coastal air. Thick vanilla sweetness to it, too.
Palate: Custard Creams, flapjacks and all manner of baked goods! A hint of sea salt.
Finish: White chocolate and blueberry muffins, wheat crackers, mint.
