Curious Brew Bottling Note

You may know the folks from English winery Chapel Down for their fantastic selection of sparkling wines, but they've also got some other sparkling treats for you to enjoy - namely, beer! Curious Brew is their take on a tasty lager, made with Saaz, Cascade and Nelson Sauvin hops. They've also took some inspiration from their wine-making background and re-fermented this beer with Champagne yeast!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Very creamy, with citrus blossom, white grape and salted butter notes developing.

Faultless flavour: impressive complexity, bit zesty; not over-priced, just pricy...

A fine ale that will become a classic.

Delicious, lain and simple.
Its hoppy, light on the tongue with a deliciously slightly sweet, citrusy taste that lingers pleasantly for an age.
The perfect summer pint for a Sunday afternoon on the village green watching the old leather and willow battle it out.
My only gripe, they use the word LAGER, it's a sin to even suggest this is anything close to that stuff.

Great British lager

Excellent, especially good drinking it outside the Olympic in Barnes on a sunny day...

Perfect thirst quencher

God I love this beer. Clean fresh lager but with a delicious grapefruity elderflowery grapey finish. Refreshing. Worth mowing the lawn for.
