Behold Beyond Modus VI, the sixth edition of The Wild Beer Co.'s annual winter blend! It was first brewed as an English old ale, and was then separately aged in Pedro Ximénez sherry, Burgundy red wine and bourbon barrels before being blended and bottled. It's bold, funky and fruity, and over at the brewery they recommend pairing it with a peppery steak.
Lots of juicy red fruit and red grape skin, with a funky undertone and rich malt alongside a touch of vanilla.
