Laphroaig 25 Year Old Cask Strength (2014 Release) Reviews

Forget it.....

I had a dram at laphroig distillary for 22,50 pounds......
for a 25 years old me and my daughter were totally disapointed !!!
Peat and peat and peat ......
not our choice

big on flavours, citrus, fruits, oak wood, fino and sherry influence

this is more based on flavours, intensity ( strangely much more than the excellent/mellow 18), but less sting. ow on tar, ashes and medium peat mingled superbly with the flavours. nose is sweetness, fruits, taste is wonderful, not aggressive and immediately palatable. finish is medium/long, warm, spicey, dry and tannins, and will make you want more of the same. superb stuff, admittedly pricey.
