A well-Sherried Ben Nevis single malt Scotch whisky here, bottled by Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection. This was distilled in October 1991, aged in a Sherry butt for 24 years and then bottled in January 2016 at 54.7% ABV. 566 bottles were produced.
Nose: Dark berries, chocolate shavings, grist, Custard Creams, old oak.
Palate: Tobacco leaf, coffee, raspberries, raisins and Weetabix.
Finish: Sweet, juicy and full of Sherried goodness.
