Matured in a single sherry butt (cask #800040) at Ardgowan itself, it’s a rich, full-bodied Highland malt that demonstrates exactly what close cask monitoring and patience can achieve. Bottled at cask strength without chill filtration or colouring, this is a characterful whisky – and with only 327 bottles, it won’t stick around.
