In March 2008 we were sitting down, having a nice sandwich, when suddenly our Spidey-Whisky-Senses tingled! They were alerting us that an awesome first fill bourbon barrel of Kilchoman single malt Scotch whisky had just been filled at their farm distillery. From that point on, we knew we had to bottle that barrel for our range of single cask whiskies. In November 2013, we did just that, and here it is in all its peaty glory!
Only 286 bottles were produced, so if you're a fan of incredible Islay whiskies, make sure you get your hands on a bottle before they're all gone.

Nose: Custard, peat, waxed lemons, butter and pancakes. Blueberry, double cream and a hint of Black Jacks. With water there's ash, Duchess potato swirls and gummy bears!
Palate: Thick with golden barley, anise and rich, sweet peat.
Finish: A perfectly seasoned lick of salivating, smoky barley.
Overall: A gorgeous, buttery, peaty single cask from this fantastic farm-distillery on Islay.
