Islay's Kilchoman distillery bottled up this single malt for its 2026 European Tour – a 10-week Land Rover expedition, visiting an astonishing 26 countries! This is the first single malt from Kilchoman to be matured entirely in mezcal casks, weaving together smoky agave and Islay peat smoke in daring fashion.

Overall

This special release weaves together agave smoke and Islay peat smoke with waves of citrus, tropical fruit and mixed spices.

Smokey sweetness

As a Islay whisky and Mezcal drinker I thought this was too good not to try. So I did and..... It is a really nice straight sipping dram. The Islay earthiness and smokiness is added to by the smokey sweetness of the Mezcal. It is a wonderful tipple which just simply does not last long. I would absolutely buy this again. SOON.
