Description

Kilchoman gave this whisky the full Cognac-cask treatment, spending its entire maturation in first-fill French oak barriques. For the 2026 release, the Islay distillery brought together 33 casks filled in 2019, bottling the result at 50% ABV.

Nose

Ripe pear and apple, honey and toasted nuts, with baking spices and coastal peat smoke.

Palate

Buttery and fruity, with baked apple, honeycomb and stone fruit. Crystallised ginger and bright citrus cut through the sweetness.

Finish

Lingering fruit and warming spice, gradually giving way to drier peat smoke.
