Unfortunately, we can't ship Caol Ila 10 Year Old - Single Minded (Douglas Laing) to the United States at the moment, but we've got some friends who can.
A smoky single malt from Islay's Caol Ila Distillery, independently bottled up by Douglas Laing for the Single Minded series. This one was drawn from a refill hogshead, in which the whisky slumbered for 10 years, before being bottled at 43% ABV.
Nose: Smoky bacon crisps, toffee, sawdust, snuffed candle.
Palate: Still packed with phenolic smoke, plus brown sugar and a smidge of citrus.
Finish: Ash, vegatal oak, honeycomb.
