A cask strength expression from the Caol Ila distillery, this 25 year old bottling was matured in refill American and European oak casks and it exudes oily, peaty notes with balancing sweetness.

Nose

Subtle, coastal, cereals, malty barley sweetness, soft fruit.

Palate

Retains gentle peat, hints of dry oaked spice. Smoky, zesty.

Finish

Long, dry, subtle peat smoke, dry driftwood washed in from the sea.
