Hand Filled #1752 Bottling Note

Bottled by our own fair hands during Fèis Ìle 2014 (the Islay whisky festival), the whisky in question was distilled in 1995 and matured for nearly 19 years in a single Oloroso butt. No filtration here either (we even turned down the sieve)- it went straight from cask to bottle so there's a load of charcoal goodness in there too! Each bottle also comes with its own bag and certificate of authenticity (not pictured).

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Awesome. Deep, dark caramel poured all over Corinth raisins. Melted dark chocolate, sticky prunes, orange peel and marzipan. A few drops of water brings out a shed load of black cherry.

Palate: Drying Sherry and chocolate goodness, sea salt and chocolate truffles.

Finish: More dark, rich cherry and chocolate.

Overall: Just delicious. Get in my face.
