Description
Bowmore gave its range a shiny makeover in 2025, including its impressive 15-year-old. A mature, bright, and sweet example of Bowmore's signature style, this single malt matured for a total of 15 years in a combo of American oak bourbon barrels and European oak oloroso sherry casks. It boasts layers of vanilla, toasted almonds, candied orange, and subtle smoke.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Sweet vanilla and toasted almonds introduce stewed apple and baked pastry. Notes of cinnamon, sultanas, and dark chocolate discreetly emerge.
Palate
A wonderfully confident and intentional medley of candied orange, toasted walnut, blackberry jam, and salty breeze.
Finish
Fresh woody smoke emerging from a smouldering fire. Enduring and evocative. A parting gift to the senses.
