Description
Independently bottled Bowmore single malt from Uncharted Whisky! Distilled in 2015, this Islay whisky spent 11 years maturing in first-fill bourbon casks before bottling at cask strength in 2026. A release of 565 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Salty peat, sugary breakfast cereal, icing sugar and a touch of wood at the back end.
Palate
Bright and salty. Cereals persist, driving the flavour profile as opposed to fruit-driven whiskies. This starts sugary sweet before drying out to tingling oak and spice with a generous honey note and texture.
Finish
The sugar sweet fades to oak and delicate smoke leaving a satisfying warmth in the mouth and chest.
