Released as a Travel Retail exclusive, this single malt from Bowmore spent 14 years maturing, beginning in American oak bourbon casks and finishing in Bordeaux wine barriques. Rich with layers of Black Forest Gateau and salted caramel alongside hearty peat smoke, it's an indulgent Islay sipper.

sweet malt, up front, smokey ash in back, taste is nutty and ashy and a short warm finish. nice for the price.
This is very good. On palette there are berries and chicolate. Finish is long with gentle smokines lingering to the end. Definitely in top 3 of Bowmores I've tasted.
