This laid-back red wine hails from Italy's Salcheto winery, produced with the 2021 harvest of sangiovese grapes, supported by small portions of canaiolo, mammolo, and merlot varieties. A portion of the wine is matured for four months in American oak imparting a silky profile, and leathery tannic notes to the tangy red berries at the fore.
Woody spice, dark cherries, a touch of tobacco, dark fruits, and tangy red berries. Earthen spice develops in the depths with elegant leather and more cherry richness.
