Here's a bit of fun wine trivia, Tempranillo, the great Rioja grape, is known in Catalonia as Ull de llebre which means 'eye of the hair.' No idea why. Anyway, it features along with Garnacha (Grenache) and Cabernet Sauvignon in this delightful bargain blend. This would be lovely with hearty stews or if you're looking to make a superior Sangria, then look no further.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Big ripe sort of wine this, with plums, black cherries and raspberries, plus some leathery tannins. Sturdy.
