A rather spicy riesling from Koerner, this 2020 vintage Watervale was made with hand-picked grapes from vines planted back in 1974. It was fermented in a combination of ceramic amphora, steel and Slavonian oak for two months. A pretty unique wine, it should go pretty well alongside roast chicken.

Lime, lemon and a little tropical fruit sit alongside an intense minerality and a creamy finish with just a hint of toast.
