Before we talk about the wine, let's just take a moment to admire that beautiful label. There's a logo that's never been near a trendy Shoreditch marketing agency. Anyway, back to the bottle's contents. This is made by a top Barolo producer but using dolcetto, a fun-packed life and soul of the party kind of grape. This is the kind of thing drunk by the jugload in restaurants in Piedmont. This would be great with meaty pasta dishes but you could also have it with oily fish like grilled sardines. Or add a splash to your mushroom risotto.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Crunchy fresh dark cherries and damsons on the nose. On the palate, it's sappy, crunchy, juicy and fun.
