Located in Barolo, the Francesco Rinaldi e Figli estate is a much-revered name in Piemonte that was founded in 1870. The wine is made within the great traditions of Barolo, without the use of any new oak, but includes long macerations and plenty of rest prior to bottling. The 2015-vintage Barolo Cannubi Riserva is a very well-structured elegant red wine with red berry and cherry notes with fine tannins. Fresh, silky and juicy with lots of fruit and berry aromas muddled with floral tones and a hint of liquorice on the finish.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
A floral and fruity wine with grippy tannins and a silky finish with hints of teacake and warm oven-baked cherry pie flavours. Bright, juicy and memorable.
