Francesco Rinaldi & Figli Barolo Brunate 2019
Superbly rich Italian red wine from Francesco Rinaldi & Figli, produced from the 2019 harvest of Nebbiolo grapes, grown in a vineyard overlapping the Barolo and La Morra municipalities. Limestone clay soil results in elegant florals and delicate spice, which are allowed to intertwine beautifully during a three year rest in large Slavonian oak barrels. Enjoyably fruity and dry, this will do very nicely with rich red meat and pasta dishes.

A good grounding of earthen spice, subtle wafts of mushrooms, and tannic leather lead to bramble fruits, red berries, vanilla and rose petals.
