Domaine de la Charbonnière has been in the hands of the Maret family since 1912. It's currently Véronique and Caroline Maret. This wine was made from 70% grenache, 15% syrah and 15% mourvèdre. It's a bold wine indeed, and needs something to match, think rich meat dishes, oxtail, and well matured cheeses.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Jammy berries and earthy spices on the nose lead to liquorice, leather, and unctuous red fruits.
