Sorry about this...
We can't actually ship Old Pulteney Duncansby Head 1l to the United States at the moment (although we're working hard to fix that).
In the meantime, our friends over at The Whisky Shop might be able to help you out.
Thank you for your support and understanding 🙂

Old Pulteney Duncansby Bottling Note
Named for the Duncansby Head lighthouse near John O'Groats, this travel retail Old Pulteney single malt Scotch whisky is matured in a combination of American ex-bourbon and Spanish ex-Sherry casks, resulting in a well-balanced dram. Sweetness and spice in equal measure, with a touch of coastal influence subtly wafting in.

One of the best single malt
No match in flavor and smoothness

Would be 5 star IF the packning had been Done proper, with the 3cl test bottles pack elswhere but inside the whisky box
Easy and fast delivery. Unfortunitely the whisky box was heavily damage. But the whisky was intact thankfully. Thanks for making my OP collection alittle bigger MoM

Very smooth
I wholeheartedly concur with the previous contributor, it's very moreish.
A wonderful combination of sweet, peat and smoke.
A nice apple and vanilla nose. Woody, malty, biscuity arrival, grass and pine chase up from the back. A delightfully lingering, oakey finish.
Dunno why but it reminds me of a Blue Label in terms of smoothness. Superb buy.

Worth the money paid.
It amazes me and definitely catches my attention. This is the whiskey that I will definitely buy again. It worth more than what I have paid.

More than moresih
I am always wary of NAS releases for the travel sector,BUT as a firm fan of Wick's best product I approached this with an open mind. OH BOY! None of your pretentious complexities, this is a full on straight forward whisky. A nose full of sweet and musky ripeness that tells the other senses to beware, fresh hay that has had a good wash of rain. From glass to taste buds you are rewarded with subtle spice and a sweet saltiness which I can only liken to that toffee apple at the beach that has managed to pick up some sand. There is apple and very very ripe sultana and as the finish lingers ( and believe me it is a long finish) you are left with the warmest of shortbread and vanillathat provides a biscuit base for the next fruity sip. In a nut shell ... OUTSTANDING!

Keeps getting better
As a long term fan of the 12 year old and later the Noss Head edition, I finally cracked and picked up a bottle of the Duncansby head. Once again, absolutely smitten with this edition. the 12yo is a salty delight. the Noss Head has a little less salt and a little more fruit & vanilla - wonderful. The Duncansby has a little less salt and vanilla again, but more than makes up for it with extra sweetness, spice and a more rounded flavour, due to the sherry influence. Hard to say which I prefer out of the Noss and Duncansby: they are very different. Guess I'd suggest getting both - start with the lighter, more tangy Noss then move up to the richer Duncansby. Fantastic.
