Description
A splendid single malt from Pulteney, independently bottled by Blind Summit Whisky. Distilled in 2008, this whisky spent its full 18-year maturation in a single refill bourbon hogshead, yielding 230 cask strength bottles.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Yellow fruit and wild honey. Sponge cake, preserved pears and butterscotch.
Palate
The elegance carries through — wave after wave of honey in different registers, with yellow fruit, vanilla and worthers originals underneath. Beautifully balanced and effortless.
Finish
Long with salted honey, the fruit and sponge notes fading gently and cleanly.
