Morrison & Mackay with Kirkwall Bay - a single malt from an undisclosed distillery on Orkney! Previous releases in this series include Riverflow and The Big Strand.
Nose: Clean citrus and orange blossom, with a light hint of biscotti and a wisp of smoke.
Palate: Orchard fruit sweetness continues, with malty vanilla and toasted almond.
Finish: Mocha, basil and stem ginger.

Drinks by the dram calendar nr 10:20 18. Nose - unsmoked peat and barley and some hint of Phenol. Makes me think of Arran and Ardbeg. Taste: Somewhat pepperish with a neat fudgeon the side.
