Douglas Laing's Remarkable Regional Malts With A Twist

Douglas Laing Remarkable Bottling Note

A 10 year old blended malt made from whiskies produced across all of Scotland whisky-making regions, created by Douglas Laing in celebration of the indie bottler's 70th anniversary. A tasty dram, with a very cool presentation - the label features the characters from Douglas Laing's Remarkable Regional Malts (including Big Peat, the Scallywag, the Timorous Beastie (whom is apparently a terrifyingly giant mouse), the Epicurean, the Rock Oyster and the spider from the Gauldrons), and part of the tube it comes in twists so you can make them swap heads!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Orange boiled sweeties, liquorice, honey on toast and a touch of driftwood.

Palate: Butterscotch, peppery peat smoke, chocolate buttons, crunchy brown sugar.

Finish: Lasting citrus sweetness balanced by sea salt.
