Bunnahabhain 2009 323-325 Bottling Note

Independently bottled Bunnahabhain single malt, distilled in March 2009 and matured in first fill Sherry hogsheads until March 2017. This was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for their Cask Strength range, and as such, this has been presented at a generous 60.5% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Soft waves of roasted hazelnut, salted caramel and redcurrants.

Palate: Hot cross buns with lots of raisins and sultanas. Some sharp orange zest notes later on.

Finish: Orange oil once again, now with toasted barley.
