Bunnahabhain 20 Year Old Canasta Sherry Cask Matured was distilled on 30 November 2005 and filled into a first-fill Canasta sherry cask which adds waves of fig syrup, raisins and dark chocolate richness. Unpeated and coastal, it's bottled non-chill filtered and with no added colour. Exclusive to UK whisky retailers, there's just 642 bottles total.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Dark chocolate, dates, fig syrup, and raisin pastries.
Palate
Lush and full-bodied with dark sugar, blackberry coulis, toffee, and soft oak spice.
Finish
Long with lingering treacle sweetness and hints of espresso.
