Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Honey, polished oak, smoky embers and a little bit of orange oil.

Palate: Orange continues to build on the palate, with hints of ripe banana too. Still pleasingly peaty.

Finish: Red fruit, spicy nutmeg and toasted oak staves.

Ardmore 1996 (bottled 2014) - Gordon & MacPhail Reviews

Very enjoyable.

Picked up a bottle of Ardmore in Edinburgh, Scotland. Enjoy the suttle bite in the beginning and smoothness in the end. Very nice on a single ice cube in the glass for about 30 seconds. Pull the cube out and enjoy.

I enjoyed this peaty dram. Offered more than just overwhelming smoke. Quite spicy neat.

This is a delightful whisky with the perfect edge of peat throughout the nose, palate, and finish.
Nose: sour apple, subtle peat, spice, and bazooka Joe bubble gum
Palate: smoke, spice, medicinal, bubble gum
Finish: long medicinal with a fair amount of smoke and spice.

Lovely!

Wonderfully balanced with some sweet fruit upfront, a bit of saltiness mid palate and a genty peaty finish.
