This Dry vermouth from Distillerie des Alps' Vermouth Routin range is five times less sweet than its red vermouth, meaning it's a star cocktail ingredient (and also apparently very useful in the kitchen). A selection of 17 botanicals, including wormwood, juniper, rosemary, bitter almond, and rose petals, are blended with French white wine and local Jacquère wine. Serve with tonic water and a fruit syrup (we reckon raspberry would shine), and garnish with a pink grapefruit wedge.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Incredibly dry, and barely sweetened, with bitter wormwood, oily nuts, kitchen herbs, and just a waft of florals.
