Angostura

Angostura has been making its mark on the drinks world since 1824, when Dr Johann Gottlieb Benjamin Siegert created the aromatic bitters that would become a Trinidadian icon. Rum followed, and today the House of Angostura is home to Trinidad and Tobago’s only rum distillery, producing a range of rums alongside its famous bitters.

Made from molasses, fermented with proprietary yeast, distilled in continuous stills and matured in charred oak, Angostura’s rums are distinctly Trinidadian, with a focus on blending and balance. More than 200 years after its beginnings, the company continues to make bitters and rum enjoyed around the world.
