Another delightful drop from Zonte's Footstep in South Australia. This bottle is inspired by the magic of the honey bee aka 'Nature's Crux'. It's 100% Shiraz from the Fleurieu peninsula. It's fermented using a cultured yeast before ageing in used French and American oak barrels. In short, it's the bees knees.
Mmmm, ripe fresh brambles on the nose with thyme and menthol notes. Crunchy cherries, liquorice, and leather on the palate.
