The 2022 Church Block release blends Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot in a style that leans into ripe fruit, supple structure and a generous sweep of spice. Fruit comes from selected growers across the region, along with Wirra Wirra’s own vineyards by the old ironstone cellars, with each parcel fermented and matured separately before blending. The parcels spent around twelve months in a mix of French and American oak, adding polish without muting the fruit.
Blackcurrants and plums with tobacco, vanilla, menthol, cloves and toasty oak notes, and a long finish.
