A splendid sparkling wine from South Africa, produced by Vondeling! This 2018 vintage of its Rurale Blanc de Blanc is produced from a majority of Chardonnay grapes from a single block, bolstered by Pinotage grapes grown in the winery's lower valley slopes. Matured on the lees for three years, this has marvellously fine bubbles, with creamy fruit notes aplenty. A fine pairing for smoked salmon and herbal seafood dishes.
Flaked almond pastries, buttery orchard fruits, zesty citrus with a creamy effervescence.
