Using grapes grown on vines nearing 20 years of age, in a steep southwest facing vineyard known by the winery as the Spice Block. Rested for at least 18 months in French oak, this is fruity and bold, an ideal accompaniment to poultry, or barbecued food!
Dark berries and cherries, with sweeter redberry juices and hints of floral blossom. Rich oak and more dark fruits, with sweet hints of anise on the finish.
