Superb Chardonnay from Vondeling's Barrel Selection. The grapes for this label were picked at the optimum ripeness in the morning, and whole bunch pressed to retain their character. It spends 11 months maturing in oak (seven of them on its lees), followed by a gentle filtration before bottling. Incredible paired with pasta or fish dishes.
Peach, green apple, a smidge of brown sugar, subtle chalky hints later on.
