This Rioja Crianza, the youngest sort, comes from one of the oldest producers in the region CVNE (Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España). It's a blend of tempranillo, garnacha (grenache), mazuelo (carignan) and graciano, and is aged in American oak and in the bottle before release. This would be lovely with a nice spicy tagine.
Fresh strawberries and red cherries with subtle clove and vanilla notes.
