Here's something you don't see everyday, a sweet wine from Chile. This is made from sauvignon blanc grapes grown in Casablanca Valley. Sauvignon is one of the grapes that goes into one of the world's greatest sweet wines, Sauternes. This Chilean ones are picked late when they are full of sugar with a little gewurztraminer for fragance. This fresh, fruit-laden fruity pudding wine would be delightful with fruit tarts or blue cheese.
Ripe orange, lemon and peach on the nose, with citrus blossom and honey. Sweet stone fruit and citrus, nice intensity, with a fine balancing acidity and a clean finish.
