Description

A beautifully expressive Tuscan red from Tenuta di Ghizzano, blending 70% Sangiovese with 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. First produced in 1985, Veneroso remains the estate’s flagship wine, combining biodynamic farming with traditional winemaking techniques including wild yeast fermentation and ageing in 500-litre oak casks. The 2020 vintage bursts with elegance, balancing vibrant fruit with earthy complexity and savoury depth.

Overall

Black Forest gateau, with bitter dark chocolate, dark berries and oaky vanilla, along with peppery spice.
