Bocca di Lupo Aglianico 2018 75cl

This is a legendary Puglian wine. The name Bocca di Lupo means 'mouth of the wolf' and it's a 100% organic estate that belongs to Tormaresca. It's made from 100% aglianico, a grape native to Southern Italy though it's more usually found in Campania, to produce a powerful, robust red that's also not short of elegance and fragrance especially in a cooler vintage like 2018. This will need decanting before serving with suitably robust food.
