San Felice 2013 Bottling Note
Chianti Classico complete with black rooster (Gallo Nero) seal. While some words don't carry any legal meaning, "Classico" appearing on Chianti wines means it has the highest quality standards in the Chianti region, requiring the most minimum oak aging and the lowest maximum yields. This example comes from highly regarded producers San Felice and offers fantastic value for money. Like most wine from Tuscany this cries out for food, most tomato-based pasta dishes will work wonderfully well.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Classic medium-bodied and elegant Chianti. Cherry and raspberry notes with great complexity and more savoury elements of leather and tobacco, there are floral aromas of violets too. All this is backed up with refined tannins and good acidity.
